Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative in Saginaw, MI. This full‑time role offers base pay plus performance bonuses and a company vehicle/allowance, with opportunities to build a long‑term client book among commercial property owners and general contractors.

You will develop new business, manage multi‑month sales cycles, and service existing clients while coordinating with operations to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of business‑to‑business sales experience within commercial roofing, construction, facilities services, building envelope, or related industry.
• Experience managing long sales cycles and complex commercial accounts.
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person prospecting.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial property owners, facility managers, property management companies, and general contractors.
• Schedule meetings with key decision-makers and develop long-term client relationships.
• Manage a consultative sales cycle that may extend several months while maintaining consistent follow-up.
• Identify customer needs and recommend preventive maintenance programs, repair services, restoration solutions, and roof asset management strategies.
• Develop and present professional proposals, service agreements, and project recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts and close profitable service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and sales activity.
