Job summary

Horizon Roofing, Inc. is expanding its commercial roofing services in Minnesota, seeking a self-driven sales professional with experience in commercial roofing to build relationships with property and facility managers. The role focuses on prospecting, site inspections, proposals, and closing opportunities.

You will work with a team to grow market share, manage client visits, and ensure customers receive value for their investment. Compensation includes salary plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or industrial sales experience is required.
• Commercial roofing experience/knowledge is required.
• Experienced roofing estimator with roofing experience is preferred.
• Experience in growing market share.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a tenacious drive to sell and the ability to problem-solve.
• Strong mathematics and computer skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and sales tracking abilities.
• Excellent Time Management and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Self-generating opportunities, prospecting, cold calling, and networking events.
• Marketing your efforts through cold calling, site inspections, proposals, and selling commercial/industrial roofing services.
• Set up meetings with possible customers to show off what makes us special.
• Scheduled customer office visits as needed; prepare progress reports for management.
• Performing roof inspection, providing pricing, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
• Arranging work with service management to be completed.
• Meet service crews to review work and verify the customer is getting what they paid for.
