Job summary

Horizon Roofing, Inc. in Fargo is expanding its commercial roof inspections, maintenance, and repairs. We seek a self-driven service sales professional who can prospect, cold call, and build relationships with property and facility managers.

This role blends business development with on-site visits, pricing, budgeting, and presenting proposals to win service contracts. You will join a growing team at Horizon Roofing, a long-standing contractor established in 1976.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or industrial sales experience required.
• Commercial roofing experience required.
• Roofing estimator experience preferred.
• Experience growing market share.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a tenacious drive to sell and the ability to problem-solve.
• Strong mathematics and computer skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and sales tracking abilities.
• Excellent Time Management and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Self-generating opportunities, prospecting, cold calling, and networking events.
• Marketing your efforts through cold calling, performing site inspections, generating proposals, and selling commercial/industrial roofing services.
• Set up meetings with possible customers to show off what makes us special.
• Scheduled customer office visits as needed; prepared various progress reports for management.
• Performing roof inspection, providing pricing, budgeting, forecasting, etc.
• Arrang work with service management to be competed.
• Meet service crews to review work to be completed and revisit the site to verify the customer is getting what they paid for.
