Job summary

Roof Services & Solutions, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator for our St. Louis, MO location.

You will support project lifecycle activities, including contracts, bonding, insurance, billing, and compliance documentation to help ensure efficient project execution. Responsibilities include administrative support to production and project management, bid preparation, records management, subcontractor coordination, and month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, roofing, project coordination, project administration, or a related industry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to solve problems, follow through on tasks, and meet deadlines with urgency.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with project management software, CRM systems, or construction management platforms preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of business operations, project coordination, and construction processes.
• Understanding of commercial roofing materials, systems, and industry practices preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Occasional visits to active construction and roofing sites.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the production and project management teams.
• Assist with bids, contracts, bonding, insurance, and project startup documentation.
• Create and maintain project records, purchase orders, subcontractor files, and customer documentation.
• Prepare and submit project billings, lien waivers, and other customer-required paperwork.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, prequalification packages, licenses, and certifications.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support project closeout activities and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Assist with month-end reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a backup for office administrative functions as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
