Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC in Cincinnati is seeking an in-office Project Engineer to support commercial roofing projects from startup through closeout. You will prepare accurate submittals, work orders, warranty documentation, and owner manuals, and provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers.

The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, coordinating with General Contractors, and maintaining detailed project records in Navision.

Qualifications

Experience preparing construction submittals and project documentation.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
Experience with CAD software and electronic plan takeoffs is preferred.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Navision) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate project submittals, work orders, warranty documentation, and owner manuals.
Submit RFIs and coordinate with General Contractors, Owners, or Consultants.
Track submittal status and communicate issues to Project Manager.
Prepare detailed work orders and enter data into Navision.
Assemble project packets and closeout packages for project completion.
Perform material takeoffs and assist with purchasing.
Provide admin and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
