Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC seeks an in-office Project Engineer to support commercial roofing projects from startup through closeout in Dayton, Columbus or Cincinnati (OH). You will prepare submittals, work orders, warranty documentation, owner manuals, and closeout packages, providing administrative and technical support to Project Managers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Estimating Department, managing submittal packages in Navision, creating buy orders, performing CAD

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction or commercial roofing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Experience preparing construction submittals and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP software.
• Experience with CAD software and electronic plan takeoffs preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support submittal process: collect specs, data, shop drawings, certifications.
• Prepare and submit RFIs and complete submittal packages to GC/Owner/Consultant.
• Track submittal status and communicate issues to Project Manager.
