Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC is seeking an in-office Project Engineer for our Cincinnati office. The role supports commercial roofing projects from startup to closeout, handling submittals, warranty, work orders, and closeout packages with PM oversight.

Responsibilities include navigating Navision, coordinating with GC/owner, and preparing documentation. Requires CAD proficiency, ERP experience, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction or commercial roofing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience preparing construction submittals and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP software.
• Experience with CAD software and electronic plan takeoffs preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project submittals and RFIs; verify startup information.
• Submit warranty applications and track status through manufacturers.
• Create detailed work orders and project packets; enter into Navision.
• Verify project closeout documents and assemble complete packages.
• Prepare material takeoffs and procurement lists; issue POs.
• Support PMs with scheduling, coordination, and documentation.
