Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in St. George, UT is seeking a skilled Foreman to lead a field crew on commercial roofing projects, primarily single-ply systems (TPO, PVC).

You will manage daily operations, safety, and quality while coordinating with contractors to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of commercial flat-roofing experience, foreman-level supervision, and proficiency in roofing components, blueprints, and paperwork.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience installing commercial flat-roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, and others).
• Has held a Foreman or similar supervisor position in the roofing trade.
• Proficient with the installation of all roofing components and detail work (pipe boots, taper insulation, patching).
• Can communicate successfully with general contractors and management- verbal and written.
• Able to train and mentor new employees.
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
• Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control.
• Can complete required paperwork, reports, and is comfortable with technology- iPads/apps.
• Has a valid driver license.
• Can pass a background check and meet job site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial roofing systems, including fully-adhered and mechanically fastened single-ply membranes (TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.).
• Complete and delegate day-to-day activities
• Successfully train and provide support to the team
• Maintain quality installation of all assigned projects
• Complete required documentation, PILL, inspection sheets, safety trainings, crew’s time sheets, etc.
• Meet production goals within a given deadline
• Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project
• Follow and enforce safety standards

Job Summary :

As a Foreman, you are responsible for your crew’s production, safety, and quality of work, while also planning day‑to‑day operations. You will supervise and direct the field crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. You will work alongside your crew each day to install commercial roofing systems, primarily single‑ply roofing (TPO, PVC, etc.). Candidates for this role must be proficient in commercial roofing applications and possess the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this position.

A Day in the Life
