Flynn Group of Companies in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Foreman to lead our commercial roofing crew. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety and quality, and install single-ply systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM) on project sites.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of flat-roofing experience, prior foreman or supervisor duties, strong leadership, blueprints literacy, and the ability to train others. The position offers $30-$42/hr, health plus 401(k) benefits, and paths for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience installing commercial flat-roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, and others)
• Has held a Foreman or similar supervisor position in the roofing trade
• Proficient with the installation of all roofing components and detail work (pipe boots, taper insulation, patching)
• Can communicate successfully with general contractors and management- verbal and written
• Able to train and mentor new employees
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
• Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control
• Can complete required paperwork, reports, and is comfortable with technology- iPads/apps
• Has a valid driver license
• Can pass a background check and meet job site requirements

Responsabilités

• Install commercial roofing systems, including fully-adhered and mechanically fastened single-ply membranes (TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.)
• Complete and delegate day-to-day activities
• Successfully train and provide support to the team
• Maintain quality installation of all assigned projects
• Complete required documentation, PILL, inspection sheets, safety trainings, crew’s time sheets, etc.
• Meet production goals within a given deadline
• Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project
• Follow and enforce safety standards
