Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Roofing Service Foreman to lead preventative maintenance, leak detection, and high‑quality roof repairs. You’ll supervise your crew, train teammates, and advise clients while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires 4+ years in commercial roofing, experience with TPO/EPDM/PVC, and a clean driving record. You’ll use mobile apps for reporting and participate in on-call rotations with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience installing and repairing TPO, EPDM, PVC, and other flat roofing systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Skilled at identifying roofing issues such as leaks, tears, and drainage problems.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills; time management and training ability.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and technology to document work and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of various commercial roofing systems.
• Investigate and identify roof leaks, inspecting damage, determine the correct repair process.
• Professional communication with clients and providing recommendations.
• Day-to-day work also includes general maintenance: debris/snow removal, tearing out old roof material, cleaning gutters, etc.
• Use our mobile app to record, document, and report jobs completed.
• Respond to emergency leaks (usually on-call 1 week per month).
• You will lead, train, and delegate tasks to your team (1-2 techs).
• 24/7 On-call availability (usually 1-2 weeks per month, additional compensation is given).
