Taltek Commercial Roofing in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator to prepare detailed bids for commercial roofing projects, analyze plans, and determine material and labor costs. You will survey roofs, gather data, and estimate profitability while coordinating with vendors and clients.

The role requires strong mathematical and planning skills, proficiency with estimating tools, and a commitment to safety and industry standards to drive profitable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Roof surveying and estimating for commercial roofing projects.
• Analyze plans and specs to prepare accurate job estimates.
• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects.
• Research materials, labor and other cost analysis.
• Maintain records of bids, suppliers, and job costs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Assess profitability of projects based on estimates.
• Review projects for compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure safety protocols and standards are adhered to.
• Budget vs. actual tracking.
• Warranty submittals.
• Strong experience with commercial roofing systems (flat, Standing seam).

Key Responsibilities:

• Roof Surveying
• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate job estimates.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial roofing estimation.
• Experience in The Edge estimating software preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with building materials, products, construction techniques, and industry standards.
