Tiello LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator in Nashville, TN to turn plans and site conditions into precise estimates. You will be involved from takeoff to final proposal, collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and project teams.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial roofing estimation, strong knowledge of roofing systems, and proficiency with EDGE/Bluebeam/PlanSwift/AccuLynx. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs.
• Conduct jobsite visits to evaluate existing roof systems and project conditions.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
• Obtain and analyze pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Identify potential project risks, exclusions, and scope gaps.
• Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and operations to ensure accurate handoffs.
• Track bid opportunities, deadlines, and project requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks when needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Help develop winning bid strategies while maintaining healthy project margins.

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. If you know commercial roofing, can turn plans and site conditions into accurate estimates, and enjoy being involved from the initial takeoff through the final proposal, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, commercially minded, and confident working with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
• Conduct jobsite visits to evaluate existing roof systems and project conditions
• Develop accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial roofing projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
• Experience with roof takeoffs, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Ability to accurately calculate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Strong understanding of construction pricing and project costs
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• The EDGE, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AccuLynx, or similar estimating platforms is a plus
• TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, BUR, coatings, and metal roofing is highly preferred
