Technique Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor delivering high-quality roofing, repair, restoration, and maintenance solutions for commercial and industrial facilities. The Business Development Representative will generate new commercial roofing opportunities, manage a consistent sales pipeline, and close deals that support our growth goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing sales experience or 5+ years of B2B construction sales.
• History of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and scopes of work.
• Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
• Ability to sell on value and protect margins.
• Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial roofing opportunities across reroof segments.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of active opportunities.
• Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and client meetings to identify project scopes.
• Prepare and present proposals and value-based solutions to commercial customers.
• Partner with estimating and operations to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project delivery.
• Close sales while maintaining target gross margins.
• Grow long-term relationships with building owners, facility managers, and general contractors.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates and reliable sales forecasts.
• Represent Technique Roofing with professionalism and integrity in the field.
