Principal Accountabilities
- Interview loan applicants and analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and loan merits.
- Establish and negotiate loan terms, including costs, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements.
- Monitor current creditworthiness and loan status through various means, including inspections and financial reviews.
- Present large loan requests to the executive loan committee.
- Authorize or reject overdrafts within authority limits.
- Oversee loan repayment activities and pursue collections on past-due accounts.
- Advise customers on business management and financial matters where appropriate.
- Serve as a contact for non-borrowing accounts and other bank services.
- Develop new business through prospecting and cross-selling services.
- Prepare reports on lending activities for management.
- Stay informed on economic, financial, political, and legislative factors affecting lending activities.
- Participate in community affairs to enhance the bank's visibility and business opportunities.
- Maintain professional relations to support visibility and personal development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of commercial lending experience in a banking or loan environment.
