Position Overview

The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing commercial and residential banking relationships. This is a true "jack of all trades" role suited for a well-rounded and proactive lender who excels at generating new business and cross-selling a wide array of banking solutions, including commercial loans, residential loans, deposits, treasury services, and more.

Responsibilities

• Proactively originate and close new commercial loans, residential loans, and deposit relationships
• Achieve and exceed annual loan production goals of $15M+
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, real estate professionals, and centers of influence in the Austin market
• Conduct credit analysis and structure loan packages to meet client needs while adhering to credit policy
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
• Represent the bank at community and networking events to promote brand visibility and business growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential lending, preferably in a community banking environment
• Proven track record of bringing in new loan and deposit relationships
• Strong credit skills and ability to structure deals
• Deep knowledge of the Austin market and strong local business network
• Excellent interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred)
