Job summary

Near North Title Group is seeking a Commercial Transaction Manager in Chicago, IL to oversee and manage the operational aspects of commercial and national real estate transactions. This role supports Underwriting and Escrow teams by gathering information, coordinating documents, and assisting with closings while providing timely responses to clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating closing documents, recordings, and tax forms, as well as ensuring final policies and documents are delivered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of real estate industry experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closing documents with Underwriting Team, Escrow Team, and client.
• Assist with recordings by sending originals to local offices, e-recording or working directly with vendors.
• Coordinate preparation for closing with underwriting staff and local offices.
• Follow up with clients and offices to obtain information needed for closing.
• Confirm taxes, transfer taxes, and clearance requirements for each transaction.
• Send closing documents, recorded documents and final policies to clients.
