Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Quality Assurance/Control Professional to support CRE through post-close reviews designed to promote data accuracy, documentation quality, and effective risk management.

This role independently manages a pipeline of newly booked and modified loans, reviewing transactions to ensure information is accurately reflected in the appropriate system of record, loan documentation aligns with approved credit terms, and required documentation is complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of applicable experience in CRE risk/QA or related field.
• Experience in commercial lending, loan administration, risk, audit, QA/QC or related financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize an assigned pipeline of post-close loan reviews within established control timelines.
• Review newly booked and modified CRE loans for accuracy and completeness.
• Validate that loan documentation aligns with credit approvals and required executed documents are in place.
• Identify data-quality, documentation, and credit-related discrepancies and follow findings through remediation.
• Maintain documentation showing corrective actions have been completed.
• Partner with relationship managers, underwriters, loan administrators, and risk partners to resolve findings.
• Provide guidance to business partners regarding processes, findings, and system navigation.
• Support regulatory, due-diligence, reporting, and other risk-related activities.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource to CRE partners and build strong working relationships across CRE.
