Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Quality Assurance/Control Business Risk Professional to independently manage a pipeline of post-close CRE loan reviews.

You will verify documentation aligns with credit terms, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate remediation with partners. You will collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, loan administrators, and risk teams to drive accurate processes, timely reviews, and risk-based decisions across CRE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Three to five years of applicable experience in CRE lending, risk, QA/QC, or related fields.
• Experience reviewing post-close CRE loans and ensuring documentation aligns with credit terms.
• Proficient with Excel; familiarity with lending systems like nCino, Hogan, AFS, or Liq is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize an assigned pipeline of post-close loan reviews within established control timelines.
• Review newly booked and modified CRE loans for accuracy and completeness.
• Validate that loan documentation aligns with credit approvals and required executed documents are in place.
• Identify data-quality, documentation, and credit-related discrepancies and follow findings through remediation.
• Maintain documentation showing that issues have been corrected.
• Partner with relationship managers, underwriters, loan administrators, and risk partners to resolve findings.
• Provide guidance to business partners regarding processes, findings, and system navigation.
• Support regulatory, due-diligence, reporting, and other risk-related activities.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource to build strong CRE relationships.
