LHH is recruiting a Real Estate Paralegal/Title Company Manager in Cincinnati for a Top 20 Commercial Law Firm with a sophisticated real estate practice. This role focuses on preparing title commitments and closing documents, managing title policies, and coordinating audits and compliance with state regulations.

The position emphasizes deep knowledge of real estate transactions, title examinations, and diligence coordination, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities

Prepare title commitments and issue title policies.
Review and comment on titles and surveys.
Prepare closing documents, create closing checklists and assist in closing commercial real estate transactions.
Prepare deeds, memoranda of trust and other estate-planning related documents.
Assist in curing title defects.
Order due diligence reports and interface with third party diligence providers.
Order title exams, surveys and zoning reports, as applicable.
Review and submit documents for recording through Simplifile or via mail/in-person.
Review and submit monthly title policy premium remittances to title companies for entire title company.
Gather and provide information for all title company audits and yearly audit.
Submit title agency and title agent Annual Reviews to the Ohio Department of Insurance.
Submit 1099-S tax documents online for all files, if applicable.
