Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a seasoned real estate paralegal to manage complex commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing and post-closing. You will prepare and maintain deal files, closing documents, and related records, coordinating with clients, attorneys, title companies, lenders, and other professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate, 5+ years of CRE paralegal experience, and proficiency in MS Office and title-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions, title and survey review, due diligence, entity formation, and closing coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Kofax.
• Strong organization, communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Experience obtaining EINs and preparing related IRS forms is a plus.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends when transaction needs require it.
