Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its in-house legal team in New York City. You will support attorneys handling a high volume of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and investor documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and closing processes.
• Experience preparing and managing real estate transaction documents independently.
• Familiarity with title, survey, and due diligence review.
• Experience handling investor documents and operating agreements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing transactions.
• Prepare, review, and organize closing documents, closing statements, and transaction files.
• Coordinate and assist with commercial real estate closings from contract through post-closing.
• Draft and maintain operating agreements, investor subscription documents, leases, lease amendments, and related transactional documents.
• Review title reports, surveys, and related due diligence materials.
• Assist with entity formation and corporate documentation.
• Manage post-closing deliverables, closing binders, transfer documents, and other transaction-related matters.
• Provide support on condominium and cooperative transactions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all deadlines are met.

This role will support a group of attorneys handling a high volume of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing matters, and investor-related documentation.

The ideal candidate is a career real estate paralegal with significant experience managing transactional documentation and supporting attorneys throughout the closing process.
