Toates Law Firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role will support our Commercial Attorney in managing real estate transactions from contract to closing. If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are experienced in SoftPro, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

•Manage commercial transactions including purchases, sales, development, and leasing

•Draft and review deeds, leases, easements, closing documents, and more

•Order and review title work; coordinate with title companies to resolve issues

•Review surveys, zoning reports, and handle due diligence items

•Use SoftPro for closing coordination, settlement statements, and escrow tracking

•Communicate with clients, lenders, municipalities, and other professionals to ensure smooth closings

•Handle post-closing tasks including document recording and policy issuance

What We’re Looking For:

•3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal

•Excellence in communication, both internally and externally

•Proficiency with SoftPro

•Strong knowledge of South Carolina real estate law and closing processes

•Excellent communication and organizational skills

•Ability to manage multiple transactions with attention to detail

•Familiarity with the Register of Deeds Offices in the Upstate of South Carolina and other local offices

•Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience; Notary Public a plus
