Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Real Estate Valuation Liaison to be the primary contact between those ordering real estate valuations for collateral and the Real Estate Valuation Group.

The role supports commercial lending by coordinating appraisal timelines, ensuring information accuracy, and assisting the closing team as needed. You will liaise with vendors and bank staff to maintain efficient processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years related experience in Commercial Lending.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate appraisals is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret appraisal-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison between the Real Estate Valuation Group and those utilizing appraisal services.
• Tracks commercial real estate appraisals ordered on behalf of the Bank using appraisal systems.
• Reviews status of real estate appraisals and requests information as needed.
• Orders and coordinates external commercial appraisal reviews with third-party vendors.
• Uploads appraisal reviews and inputs information in FinanceCenter.
• Assists closing team and reviewers with checklists in Finance Center.
• Escalates issues to Team Lead or Department Manager as needed.
• Communicates with senior management, other bank officers, and vendors.
• Maintains working knowledge of appraisal rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
