Qualifications

• BS degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial real estate broker experience with a track record of transactions.
• Virginia Real Estate Broker License required; other state licenses are a plus.
• CCIM designation or auction-based experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead market analysis to identify trends, valuations, and opportunities.
• Advise clients, property owners, and investors as a trusted broker.
• Oversee listing, marketing, and positioning of commercial properties.
• Negotiate and manage lease and sale transactions from start to close.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and risk-aware.
• Drive business development through networking and referrals.
• Collaborate with leadership and mentor junior brokers.

Commercial Broker Responsibilities:

• Lead market analysis to identify trends, valuations, and investment opportunities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, property owners, and investors
• Oversee the strategic listing, marketing, and positioning of commercial properties
• Negotiate and manage complex lease and sale transactions from start to close
• Ensure transaction documentation is accurate, compliant, and risk-aware
• Drive business development through networking, referrals, and market leadership
• Collaborate with leadership and mentor junior brokers

Commercial Broker Requirements:

• BS degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of commercial real estate broker experience and a successful track record of business transactions
• Virginia Real Estate Broker License required, and having surrounding State brokers' licenses is a plus
• CCIM designation or auction-based transaction experience preferred
• Through understanding of the commercial real estate market, laws and regulations, and best practices involved in real estate transactions
• Experience with MLS platforms, CRM systems, and advanced Microsoft Office
