Job summary

BG Staffing seeks an Assistant Property Manager in Houston, TX to support the Property Manager with management of assigned commercial properties. Responsibilities include budget preparation, building operations, facility maintenance, tenant relations and project management in a fast-paced CRE environment.

You will deliver excellent customer service to tenants, owners and vendors while focusing on productivity and results, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring safety and property

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree with commensurate experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting.
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; AMSI/Yardi/MRI accounting software a plus.
• Good oral and written communication a must.
• 2–3 years commercial real estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface with tenants and vendors in daily operations of the building.
• Promote positive relationships with tenants and owner.
• Maximize owner’s return on investment.
• Minimize property risk and liabilities.
• Property inspections and life safety requirements.
• Attend to demands/needs of larger tenants.
• Lease administration assistance and budget support.
