Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking a Commercial Project Management Summer-Fall 2027 Co-op. Based in our Electrification and Automation division, you will support financial planning, forecasting, and project reporting for energy automation and data center projects in a hybrid office setting.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and project teams, gaining hands-on experience in revenue tracking, EAC updates, change orders, and milestone reporting while learning best practices in

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of financial concepts, reporting, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer and Fall 2027 semesters, with hybrid work flexibility and occasional in-person attendance (up to 3 days per week).
• Candidates must be enrolled with the NC State University co-op program.
• Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC; no relocation support.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support project financial planning, forecasting, and EAC updates for large-scale Energy Automation and Data Center projects.
• Assist with revenue, cost, cash flow, profitability, and order intake tracking to support project performance objectives.
• Analyze project data to identify risks, opportunities, variances, and process improvement areas.
• Support change order management, invoicing activities, and commercial milestone reporting.
• Collaborate with Commercial Project Managers, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Project Execution teams.
