Job summary

Florida Construction Connection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily developments across South Florida from preconstruction through turnover.

You will coordinate development, design, field teams, and trade partners while managing budgets, schedules, and risk to deliver high-quality communities on time and within budget. The role requires a track record in multifamily construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction Project Management experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Developer/Builder.
• Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects.
• Experience with garden-style, mid-rise, high-rise, townhome, affordable, workforce, and/or market-rate multifamily construction is valuable.
• Strong understanding of preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, cost control, and project financial management.
• Ability to coordinate complex project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout procedures.
• Proven ability to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain project momentum.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-management skills.
• South Florida construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and turnover.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and project reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor bidding, selection, procurement, buyout, contracts, and change management.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication between development, construction, and field teams.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, procurement, project documentation, and closeout.
• Collaborate with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Identify project risks, scheduling conflicts, and cost concerns before they impact project performance.
• Maintain accountability for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to company standards.
