Job summary

Daiju Yoshino Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Producer to own new commercial business production. This role offers an enhanced commission structure and pay rate, focused on prospecting, quoting, and closing new accounts, while our service team handles retention.

You will prospect, quote, and close while collaborating with underwriters and carriers to ensure timely binding and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales/production.
• Active California Property & Casualty producer license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Working knowledge of core commercial lines products (e.g., BOP, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto).
• Comfortable using an agency management system/CRM to manage pipeline and tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to consistently meet monthly production goals.
• Reliable, in-office attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close new commercial lines business to meet assigned monthly premium goals.
• Write new Farmers policies each month as part of monthly production targets.
• Generate qualified life insurance and personal lines referrals each month.
• Manage a pipeline of prospects and quotes, keeping tasks and follow-ups current.
• Respond promptly to client, carrier, and vendor communications.
• Complete required documentation and binding requirements accurately and on time.
• Maintain professional, clear communication with clients and carriers.
• Support the service team as needed to help retain the accounts you write.
