Job summary

Stancil Services in Charlotte, North Carolina seeks a Commercial Preconstruction & Operations Manager to lead the operating structure for the Paint & Drywall Division, supporting commercial and multifamily projects.

This hands-on role connects Business Development, Sales, Estimating, Preconstruction, Project Management, and field production to ensure opportunities are properly evaluated, planned, and executed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Significant experience with commercial drywall, painting, interiors, and/or multifamily construction preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Define commercial project profile aligned with Stancil’s capabilities and long-term strategy.
• Develop relationships with commercial/general contractors in target markets.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, and Estimating to evaluate opportunities on multiple dimensions.
• Establish repeatable operating standards for efficient project execution across the division.
• Coach and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen; ensure accountability.
