H&G Systems in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Lead to support field operations on complex commercial projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, schools, and manufacturing plants. This is a leadership‑oriented role designed for a Journeyman Plumber ready to advance toward superintendent responsibilities.

You’ll mentor apprentices, help with labor planning, read drawings, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering high‑quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (required).
• 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience as a Foreman, Lead Plumber, or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and submittals.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening following a conditional offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations across multiple commercial plumbing projects.
• Assist with labor planning, manpower coordination, and scheduling.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and installation requirements.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality standards.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable plumbing codes and company standards.
• Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, project managers, and field crews.
• Mentor apprentices and help develop the next generation of plumbing professionals.
• Identify and proactively resolve jobsite challenges to keep projects on track.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Domestic water systems
  • Sanitary sewer systems
  • Storm drainage systems
  • Fuel gas systems
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and submittals
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
