Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support our CPP-led sales efforts and coordinate commercial deliveries. You will oversee store vehicle maintenance, conduct account visits, and assist in upselling while providing excellent customer service.

You will engage with walk-in customers, help inventory and backroom organization, and lead on weekends when demand requires it. High school diploma or GED is required, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as this role is required to have an MVR certification.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales.
• Assist dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Oversee store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Make outbound calls and follow-ups with accounts.
• Deliver customer orders following driver procedures.
• Lead organization of parts department and backroom areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Assist upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Lead commercial program during CPP absence, including weekends.
• Engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts.
• Assist CPPs and GMs with tasks and projects including inventory.
• Help onboard and shadow new team members.
