Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales, dispatch deliveries, and manage store vehicle readiness. The role involves account visits, upselling, and maintaining inventory knowledge to drive commercial revenue.

You will lead the parts area, assist in weekend coverage, and engage walk-in customers with expert recommendations. A valid driver's license and MVR acceptable record are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Prior automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50–100 lbs and work in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and assist with deliveries.
• Dispatch and coordinate commercial deliveries from order to dispatched.
• Maintain store vehicle fleet, safety checks, and readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Engage with customers, upsell and cross-sell to increase value.
• Lead parts department organization, backroom, and delivery areas.
• Assist with inventory knowledge and new arrivals for sales.
• Handle weekend or CPP-absent periods for commercial program.
