Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-driven sales, coordinate deliveries, and oversee the store vehicle fleet and safety checks. You will engage with walk-in customers, conduct stocking visits, and assist in upselling to raise average transaction value.

The role requires strong communication, basic dispatching knowledge, and MS Excel skills, with a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR preferred. Flexible days/evenings/weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Basic inventory management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries as needed following driver procedures.
• Lead organization and maintenance in parts department, backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
