Farm Family seeks a seasoned underwriting leader to guide the Commercial Lines portfolio, overseeing daily department operations, strategy execution, and staff coaching. The role interfaces with actuarial, data analytics, claims, and compliance, driving profitability and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of P&C commercial underwriting experience.
• 5–10 years of progressive leadership and management experience.
• Proven experience leading underwriting teams and developing strategy for commercial lines.
• Industry designations: CPCU, ARM, AFIS, or AINS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Overnight travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute underwriting strategies for the Commercial Lines portfolio.
• Oversee daily operations of the underwriting department to meet targets.
