Catalent Kansas City Analytical Services is seeking a Manager, Commercial Operations to lead commercial initiatives for key client programs and collaborate with Business Development, Project Management, Laboratory Operations, and Finance. The role emphasizes forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio management to support growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in contracting, commercial operations, program management, account management in pharma/biotech services.
• Direct experience in BioAnalytics, Analytical Services, lab operations, or similar scientific environment.
• Strong understanding of lab workflows and how they impact turnaround times, capacity, and efficiency.
• Analytical, problem-solving and business acumen with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverage understanding of analytical testing to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Serve as commercial lead for existing customer programs aligning expectations with execution.
• Partner cross-functionally with BD, PM, Lab Ops, and Finance to support customer success.
• Lead demand forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio management for lab utilization.
• Manage commercial agreements, contract renewals, and customer communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
