Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Manager, Commercial Operations for its Kansas City Analytical Services business. This role leads commercial efforts for existing customer programs, coordinating with Business Development, Project Management, Laboratory Operations, and Finance to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contracting, commercial operations, program management, account management, or other business-related roles in the pharmaceutical/biotech services industry.
• Experience in BioAnalytics, Analytical Services, laboratory operations, or similar scientific environments.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and factors impacting turnaround times, capacity, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and improve turnaround times to maximize laboratory capacity and performance.
• Serve as commercial lead for existing customer programs and align customer expectations with contractual commitments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support customer success and drive business growth.
• Lead demand forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio management for lab utilization and long-term planning.
• Manage commercial agreements, contract renewals, and customer communications to strengthen relationships.
