We are seeking a Commercial Operations Intern for Winter 2027 to join our Commercial team as an extension of the team, owning tasks from day one and tracking KPIs across active use cases at customer sites.

You will be on the ground at deployments, observe operations, collect data, and escalate issues. You'll collaborate across Commercial, Pilots, Engineering, and Operations to drive action

Qualifications

  • Rising senior or recent graduate in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field; must be graduating within one year.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort working with data in spreadsheets.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites and work hands-on in industrial environments such as warehouses and logistics facilities.

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Intern to join our Commercial team during Winter 2027. In summary, you will be a true extension of the team: you'll own real tasks from day one, track how our commercial use cases are progressing against their KPIs, and be our feet on the ground at customer sites.

Responsibilities:

Track progress across active commercial use cases and keep status, milestones, and blockers up to date for the team.

Collect, maintain, and report KPIs in recurring updates for the team and leadership.

Act as feet on the ground at customer and deployment sites: observe operations, capture issues and data, and relay what you see back to the team.

Requirements:

Rising senior or recent graduate in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field; must be graduating within one year.

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a customer-facing role.

Interest in robotics or AI, or experience with data analysis and dashboarding tools (SQL, Python, Looker, or similar).

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
