As Commercial Manager, you’ll lead the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of SKYLAKE’s Food & Beverage, Retail, Photography, and Premium Experiences. You’ll combine hands‑on leadership with commercial strategy to drive revenue and profitability while ensuring every commercial touchpoint enhances the guest experience. From developing new revenue streams and premium offerings to leading teams and commercial partnerships, your work will directly shape SKYLAKE’s financial performance and the experiences our guests remember.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of Food & Beverage, Retail, Photography, and Premium Experiences
- Drive revenue and profitability through pricing, product mix, promotions, upselling, and new commercial opportunities
- Develop Premium Experiences, including VIP offerings, guest upgrades, packages, and other revenue-generating enhancements
- Oversee Food & Beverage operations, including third-party partners, service standards, financial performance, and the transition to an in-house Food & Beverage program
- Own commercial budgets, P&L performance, and key performance indicators, using business results to identify opportunities and improve performance
- Ensure commercial operations consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences and reflect SKYLAKE service, presentation, and brand standards
- Lead, coach, and develop commercial teams, fostering accountability, high performance, and succession planning
- Manage key supplier, vendor, and commercial partner relationships to support quality, value, operational performance, and revenue growth
- Ensure commercial operations comply with applicable food safety, health, safety, sanitation, and company standards
- Collaborate with Marketing, leadership, and other departments to develop and execute promotions, seasonal initiatives, special events, and other commercial opportunities
- Serve as Duty Manager as required, supporting safe and effective park-wide operations
- Other duties as assigned
What Makes You a Fit
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in hospitality, attractions, Food & Beverage, retail, or another revenue-focused environment
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L performance, and revenue‑driving initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, including supervisors or emerging leaders
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and translate business results into action
- Effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills
- A creative, adaptable, and hands‑on leadership approach with high standards for guest experience and operational excellence
- Working knowledge of applicable food safety and workplace compliance requirements, with the ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail Management, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
