Job summary

SKYLAKE Adventures in Sheridan, Indiana, seeks a Guest Experience Guide to welcome guests, answer questions, and create memorable experiences at a year-round destination. You’ll help guests with tickets, information, and guidance while maintaining safety and SKYLAKE standards.

The role requires excellent communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work outdoors in a dynamic environment. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

• Provide accurate information about attractions, events, and policies.

The Guest Experience Guide is the first friendly face and a trusted guide for guests exploring SKYLAKE. You’ll transform questions into solutions, challenges into opportunities, and visits into cherished memories. Your role is more than customer service – it's storytelling, problem-solving, and creating moments that guests will remember for a lifetime.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome and assist guests in person or over the phone with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
• Anticipate guest needs by observing cues and proactively offering assistance
• Coordinate with other departments and team members to ensure guest requests are fulfilled quickly and accurately
• Process ticket sales, wristbands, rentals, payments, and approved refunds accurately using SKYLAKE’s point-of-sale (POS) system
• Provide clear, accurate information about attractions, schedules, dining, special events, and SKYLAKE policies, tailoring recommendations to each guest’s needs
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary and working toward a positive outcome that reflects SKYLAKE standards of excellence
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SKYLAKE events, schedules, and safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and follow safety instructions and procedures
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
