Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. You will operate, inspect, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC systems across multiple properties to boost efficiency and safety.

Requires 3–5 years of building maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license to travel between properties. The role offers comprehensive benefits and the chance to work with a top Midwest commercial real estate organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum of maintenance experience in building maintenance.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must have basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders including light bulb changes, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical repairs.
• General maintenance of building grounds and common areas.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Maintain operating logs and report faults or deficiencies.
• Conduct periodic inspections of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Other general maintenance duties as necessary.

This position will complete the operation, inspection, and maintenance of all commercial building equipment including electrical, mechanical, pump, fire, plumbing, and HVAC systems to achieve increased efficiency.
