Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Residential Loss Control Consultants to join as independent contractors. You will conduct interior and/or exterior loss control inspections for insured properties within your coverage area, reporting through a cloud-based system.

No license required; pay is per inspection with weekly payout after completion. You'll need your own equipment (camera, measuring tools, laptop or tablet) and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and 3–5 years in commercial loss control.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a Windows 10 computer with reliable internet.
• Be detail oriented, organized, with flexible schedule.
• Reliable car to cover wide territory as needed, with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload reports/photos through cloud-based system by the deadline.
