Job summary

VB Spine is seeking a Commercial Logistics Representative, Global to coordinate end-to-end logistics for spinal implants, instruments, and kits across domestic and international markets. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive shipments with carriers and couriers.

• 2+ years in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination (medical device/healthcare preferred).
• Experience coordinating time-sensitive shipments with FedEx/UPS or medical couriers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer-service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP or similar).
• Attention to detail and data integrity; knowledge of import/export is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for scheduled and urgent surgical shipments.
• Plan, execute, and track domestic and international shipments of implants and instrument sets.
• Serve as primary contact for Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and field teams.
• Manage urgent, same-day, and expedited shipment requests with accuracy.
• Create shipping docs, invoices, and customs paperwork for global shipments.
• Monitor shipments in real time and resolve delays to protect schedules.
• Coordinate inventory movements between warehouses, hubs, hospitals, and offices.
• Support returns processing and reverse logistics activities.
• Update ERP/CRM systems to maintain data integrity and audit readiness.
• Build relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, QC, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Identify process improvements to raise service levels and cut costs.

As a Commercial Logistics Representative, Global, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating the timely and accurate movement of spinal implants, instruments, and surgical kits — ensuring products arrive where and when they are needed to support surgical schedules across domestic and international markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for medical device shipments supporting scheduled and urgent surgical procedures
• Plan, execute, and track domestic and international shipments of implants, instrument sets, and related materials using carriers, couriers, and 3PL partners
• Serve as a primary point of contact for Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and field teams regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution
• Manage urgent, same-day, and expedited shipment requests with speed and accuracy
• Create shipping documentation, labels, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork as required for global shipments
• Monitor shipments in real time, proactively identify potential delays, and resolve issues before they impact surgical schedules
• Coordinate inventory movements between warehouses, hubs, hospitals, and physician offices
• Support returns (RMA) processing, product exchanges, and reverse logistics activities
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update systems (ERP/CRM) to ensure data integrity and audit readiness
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless order fulfillment
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination (medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred)
• Experience coordinating time-sensitive shipments and working with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or specialized medical couriers
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-service mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, or similar preferred)
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesKnowledge of basic import/export or customs processes is a plus

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay rate for this position is $72,800.00 annually, with potential for overtime, bonuses, and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
