Job summary

Oak Valley Community Bank in Central Valley, CA is seeking a Commercial Loan Assistant to support Loan Officers with loan processing, documentation, and portfolio management. This full‑time role reports to the Loan Administration Supervisor and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will handle loan intake, coordinate with underwriters, gather financials and reports, and assist with budget preparation for construction loans. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in banking or financial services with commercial credit or loan processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming loan requests or updated financial packages for accuracy.
• Create workflows for loan applications onto the commercial lending software for underwriting.
• Coordinate with underwriters and loan officers to obtain a complete loan package.
• Coordinate the timing of approvals and obtain financials, tax returns, appraisals, and other reports.
• Manage loan documentation requests and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist with construction loan budgets and related servicing tasks.
