Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Operations Assistant to support Commercial Relationship Managers with sales, documentation, and loan administration. You will gather information for underwriting, prepare communications, and help manage loan closings and post-close tasks.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Local Florida presence is expected for a full-time position with some travel and evening/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit or customer service experience in the financial services industry
• Commercial loan experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and administrative assistance to Commercial Relationship Managers (CRM) and other partners
• Support new and renewed loan production by collecting, ordering, and tracking information required for accurate risk assessment and underwriting
• Assist with preparation of written communication on behalf of the CRM to include commitment letters, term sheets, etc.
• Complete the Credit Lens Loan Worksheet and engage the Commercial Loan Closer
• Collaborate with CRM, Loan Closers, Underwriter, Doc Prep and outside counsel on loan closings
• Submit customer maintenance requests to Loan Operations and manage WIP files
