Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Loan Coordinator I in Kansas City, MO to ensure data integrity for customer and loan information within loan applications and product packages. The role collaborates closely with Relationship Managers and supports loan requests, renewals and related documentation.

The position emphasizes collaboration with sales leaders, strong attention to detail, and working with multiple internal departments to ensure accurate loan processing and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other proprietary bank systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply knowledge of the bank's credit culture and advise Relationship Managers on deviations from standard practices.
• Act as a resource for Relationship Managers on loan operations and processing of loan requests.
• Serve as a liaison between commercial lending departments (Credit, Compliance, Deposit Operations, Loan Documentation, Loan Servicing and Post-Closing Review).
• Manage and oversee annual renewals, new loan requests and monthly reporting tasks for all loan types.
• Enter customer and loan information with attention to data integrity in the loan origination system.
• Coordinate pre-closing documentation such as flood letters, title work, appraisals, entity documents, corporate searches, credit bureau reports.
