Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist responsible for boarding commercial loans to the AFS system using Velocity and CLOS. You will review and set up loans across multiple loan types and read complex legal documentation to ensure accurate data entry.

The role requires analyzing underwriting terms, cross-training for related tasks, and partnering with Legal, Risk, and Credit Administration to support a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ experience in a financial-service related position
• Commercial Loan documentation experience

Responsibilities

• Board commercial loans to the AFS system via Velocity and CLOS.
• Set up loans from Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Private Client Group, Private Equity Group, Auto Finance, Asset Based Lending and Special Assets.
• Read and interpret complex legal documentation.
• Read and understand underwriting analysis, terms and conditions; this is a plus.
• Cross-train to perform other functions within the team.
• Act as an essential partner to Business Loan Center, Legal, Segment Risk, and Credit Administration.
• Support Loan Closers, ARAs, Loan Administrators, and Relationship/ Portfolio Managers.
