Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 1-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1-4 years’ experience in commercial and commercial real estate lending.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business financial statements, tax returns, leases, rent rolls and other business financial information.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Knowledge of lending regulations and laws sufficient to perform normal daily lending requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and characteristics necessary to interact with customers and bank personnel.

Responsibilities

• Production of commercial and commercial real estate loans from application through closing within lending limit authority.
• Presents loan requests to appropriate committee as dictated by policy.
• Generates commercial loans and deposits through active business development activities.
• Monitors an existing commercial loan portfolio to ensure timely payments and renewals.
• Maximizes profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan origination and selling of bank products.
