Smbonline in Joplin, MO is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to originate, structure, and service commercial and consumer credits. You will grow the bank’s portfolio by developing new business, calling on clients, and cross-selling products.

The role emphasizes strong credit analysis, disciplined documentation, and effective communication to manage risk and profitability. Onsite work with a Monday–Friday schedule and Saturday rotation is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of sales experience; preferably 2 years of banking experience as well
• Strong credit/industry risk analysis, negotiation, and documentation discipline
• Clear written/verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30–5:30 with Saturday rotation 8:30–12:00

The Opportunity

As a performance-driven Commercial Loan Officer (Lender) in Joplin, you will deliver high-impact loan solutions that grow relationships and manage risk. This role exists to originate, structure, underwrite, price, document, and service commercial and consumer credit while expanding the bank’s portfolio through disciplined Sales activity.

Key responsibilities include developing new business, calling on prospects and existing customers, building referral networks, cross-selling applicable bank products/services, reviewing portfolio performance to improve profitability, partnering with collections on past-due credits, and ensuring lending activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
