CommerceWest Bank in Irvine, CA seeks a Loan Documentation Supervisor to lead the commercial loan documentation team, oversee collateral perfection, and ensure timely funding in compliance with bank policies. This role works with lenders, title companies, attorneys, borrowers, and internal departments to facilitate closings.

You will train staff, perform quality control, and maintain procedures to meet CRA, HMDA, TILA/Reg Z, ECOA, BSA/AML, OFAC, and other regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5-7 years Commercial Banking experience in loan documentation.
• Proficiency in LaserPro, Word, and Excel; Jack Henry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation, lending practices, collateral requirements, and loan structuring.
• Experience with title, escrow, recording, UCC filings, lien perfection, and collateral administration.
• Understanding of legal entity documentation and authority requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate with all levels.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and participate in preparing documentation for new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications.
• Review lender instructions and approved credit authorizations to ensure documents reflect terms and collateral.
• Coordinate with title and escrow companies to facilitate real estate closings and record documents.
• Review executed loan documents for completeness and accuracy before funding.
• Oversee uploading of signed documents into Synergy and collateral perfection.
• Perform quality control reviews and periodic callbacks of loan files and data.
• Train and provide guidance to Loan Documentation staff and lending areas.
