Job summary

Pan American Bank & Trust is seeking a Loan Documentation & Closing Officer to support Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial lending. You will review credit approvals, prepare and verify loan documents, and coordinate closings with borrowers, counsel, and title companies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years closing CRE/CI transactions, strong communication, and proficiency with Laser Pro, MS Office, and Jack Henry Silverlake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum three years’ experience documenting and closing CRE/CI transactions.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate large, complex transactions with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Review Credit Approval to determine due diligence for documenting the loan.
• Review entity documents to determine authorized signers for involved entities.
• Review collateral files to ensure due diligence and documentation completeness.
• Prepare loan documentation using Laser Pro per Credit Approval and policies.
• Coordinate closings with borrowers, loan officers, title companies and counsel.
• Maintain the Loan Documentation Request Log and wire transfer authorizations.
• Coordinate imaging, posting, and booking in the loan system and post-closing steps.
